Aircraft Features
The Gulfstream III is an administrative aircraft manufactured by the American manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace between 1979 and 1986.
The Gulfstream III is the improved intercontinental successor to the Gulfstream II with an extended fuselage.
The main distinguishing feature of the Gulfstream III business jet is the new wing shape and dimensions, which, in turn, enabled improved aerodynamic performance during flight, with drag reduction and fuel consumption being the main considerations. The
powerful Rolls-Royce Spey Mk511-8 turbofan engines provide high flight efficiency and increase the non-stop flight range up to 7,598 km.
The Gulfstream III demonstrated its capabilities by setting seven world records during a demonstration tour of Europe in April–May 1980. It recorded an average speed of 831 km/h (510 mph) on the 7,348 km (4,500 mi) flight from Savannah to Hanover and a flight altitude of 15,820 m (51,000 ft) on the return flight from Geneva to Washington, D.C.
Interior and Cabin
The interior was lengthened by 61 cm compared to the Gulfstream II. The layout of the cabin was changed, with one window in the nose instead of two. On board the aircraft, depending on the configuration, up to 19 passengers could be accommodated (standard seats), but often the aircraft was intended to carry 10-12 people, and in this case, the passenger cabin was designed in such a way as to ensure maximum comfort for passengers even on long-distance flights – for the Gulfstream III, this distance was about 6,700 kilometers.
As soon as we receive the initial information from you, the manager will clarify all the details and prepare a specific offer with current prices and flight information. It usually includes 3-5 optimal options. However, if none of the offered options suits you, we will adjust the list of business jets, taking into account your wishes.

In some cases, you can use Jet Sharing or Empty Legs systems to reduce the final price. Simply put, Jet Sharing allows you to divide the total cost of renting an aircraft between all participants of the flight – it means that you do not have to pay for the entire aircraft, but for a specific seat. Therefore, it is often also called private jet charter.
As for Empty Legs, it is a system of return flights. That is, if a person orders a flight on a Gulfstream III to a specific address, the plane will return empty. In fact, it returns to the airport of origin without passengers. As a rule, such flights have a specific departure date and a certain time interval. If it suits you, you can take a private flight with a discount of up to 70% of the usual cost of the flight. If you need a non-urgent flight, we recommend that you leave a request to our consultants and they will choose the best Empty Legs option for you, taking into account all your wishes. We use exclusive bases, considering the offers of the best European business aviation operators.
